About Abide Visuals

Aaron Winters is an Art Director, Illustrator and Artist living and working in Sacramento, California. He specializes in print and web with a concentration on typography while his skillset and creative interests range from fine art to music.

Beginning his professional development as a junior designer at the New Times Weekly in San Luis Obispo, California, he returned to Northern California to finish school. After graduating from CSU, Sacramento in late 2000, Aaron returned to his design career, building websites for the California Landscape Contractors Association, and later taking on the entirety of the art direction for the non-profit.

In 2002, Aaron started taking on clients through his Abide Visuals design studio while promoting art exhibitions and creating personal projects. Over the last seven years Aaron has been fortunate enough to work with so of the most talented musicians, artists, publishers, toymakers and photographers from around the world.

Aaron’s work has been published in several books, art annuals and magazines. To share his passion for the printed page, Aaron founded his own Exit Strategy Art Annual in the summer of 2005 and had produced two ambitious anthologies by the end of the following year.

Aaron has taken to sharing his passion for design, having taught several courses at American River and Sacramento City Colleges since 2005.
